Turtle Pattern free!

I've been thinking about doing this for a long time, but I always forget! Back when I put the turtle pattern up for sale, I'll admit we were having a lot of money troubles. Luckily, things have gotten better and I want to put them up for free now! Oh, and before anybody says I'm ripping people off because people paid $1.99 for the pattern, and now they can just get it free....Well, I'll admit this too. Nobody bought it haha.

These turtles really did turn out perfect (for me anyways lol), and I want to share them. So you can now download the pattern for free here.

One thing I never really made clear in the pattern though...I made a ton of these making sure the pattern was right and such...You can use whatever kind of yarn you want (acrylic, wool, etc). I made some with acrylic, and some with cotton, and personally...I think they look MUCH better with cotton. The two turtles in the picture above were made with Lily Sugar and Cream cotton yarn. If you have any problems, or find a mistake in the pattern, please let me know! You can send me an email at empressofpalamecia@gmail.com. I'll be happy to help! Enjoy!!

  1. That's so nice of you! Thank you for sharing!

Unfortunately, I still haven't learn to read patterns... I'm still at the beginner's level where I just make random failed rectangles... :( I'll have more time to put into it this summer! Hopefully, I'll get better!

    1. Just keep practicing! One day, it will click...I promise! I only started 2 years ago, and when I first started...I was always asking my mom and grandma (they've both been crocheting since I was little) questions. If you ever have any questions, I'll be happy to help! I can always post tutorials or whatever. Or at least point you to a good tutorial :P

  2. Thank you! That's so nice of you! I've try to learn to read pattern, but with all the abbreviations, it's hard to remember everything.

For now, I can only do single and double chains. I've learned how to do like, a round thingie, but I forgot since then... xD

    1. Yea, its a bit overwhelming at first...but as you keep practicing, you don't even have to think about it lol. The turtle pattern is in the round, and if you ever decide to give it a try, I have a magic ring tutorial. I always use it when I do amigurumi, even if the pattern says to start another way lol.
